Central University of Haryana is established in 2009 has
established research facilities to carry out fundamental as well as applied
research by the faculty members and research scholars. The faculty of the
University has strong background and aptitude for research. Most of the faculty
members have exposure of research and academics from world class laboratories
from national and international institutions/Universities. The research
strength of the faculty is reflected in their high-quality publications in high
impact factor journals of national and international repute. Faculty have
excellent track record of publications in national and international journals
original research publications, review articles, reports and patents. The
individual and collaborative grants from national and international agencies
such as DST (SERB & Inspire), DBT, UGC, ICMR, ICSSR have been successfully
implemented. Several project grants are running presently as well, including
Start up grants. Recently, DST-FIST grant is awarded to strengthen research
activities at Life Science Departments of the University. University has also
established collaborative research with leading international institutions.
Central University of Haryana has well
developed modern state of art research laboratories with advanced Central
instrumentation facilities. Science laboratories are equipped with instruments
and facilities such as Gel documentation system, RT-PCR, refrigerated
centrifuges, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, HPLC, Flash evaporator, Multimode
reader, PCR machines, Flame photometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer,
Gassing manifold unit, multi-Stack orbital Shaker, etc
for various life science experimentation. The University has developed plant
and cell culture facility to advance the research on plant, microbial and human
cell cultures. Besides, the University also has facilities such as Bomb calorimeter, Lab. Fermenter, Freeze Dryer,
Viscometer, LAF Hood, Incubator, Autoclave for studies related to bioprocessing
and food processing. Life Science has also established Work station for
genomic studies. In addition, Department of Chemistry has facilities such as FT-IR Spectrophotometer, Gas chromatograph, Electrochemical workstation, BOD incubator, Programmable
oven, HPC
Cluster
(3 Compute Node and 1 Master Node) Gaussian16 Software (Linux version Only)
GaussView6 (1 Window version only) etc. University has also established
instrumentation centre with High Resolution
Accurate Mass Spectrometer System with nano-LC model Orbitrap Q Exactive plus Mass
Spectrometer (LC-MS), Atomic Force
Microscope (TOSCA200) with MFM, KPFM and CAFM and NMR facilities
available to researchers, students and faculties. The benchtop NMR Spectrometer
(Magritek SPINSOLV E 80 MHz) installed at instrumentation
facility of University is useful in analysis of the chemical compounds by
measuring 1H, 13C and 19F NMR spectral data. Latest computing facility with Software like Matlab, NS2, NS3, CloudSim are
also available for researchers, students and faculties in the Department of
Physics.
