Guest House Facility

About University Guest House

The new state-of-the-art Guest House of the university was commissioned in August 2013. Sited on green campus, the University Guest House has 03 VIP Rooms and 18 tastefully furnished rooms, a 15-seater Dining Halls (all air-conditioned), perfectly matching upholsteries and a catering that carefully prepares and serves vegetarian and continental cuisines. Hot and cold water facilities are 24X7 available it also facilitates 24-hour accessibility to the internet. The Guest House is offering the accommodation facility to all delegates, university employees, their family members and relatives of university employees.  This Guest House is within the reach of ATM, Post office and Bank.

 Terms and Conditions

  1. Booking of room and food can be made online or by filling the prescribed form in emergency case and submitting it to the caretaker in advance. The allotment of rooms shall be generally done on the "first come, first served" basis.
  2. Guest House accommodation will be provided to official guest on first priority, resource persons/participants of Seminars/Conferences/Workshops/Symposia being organized by CUH will have second priority for accommodation, provided such requests are made at least one month in advance. Guest of the faculty/staff coming for personal work will have last priority and booking will not be entertained before one month of the date from which accommodation is required. 
  3. Accommodation in the Guest House may be made up to a maximum of seven days. When accommodation is required for more than seven days, special permission of the Vice-Chancellor shall be required.
  4. Newly appointed staff/faculty members may be provided accommodation for a maximum period of two week. If any staff/faculty member(s) has to stay in the Guest House beyond two weeks, permission of the Vice-Chancellor shall be required.
  5. Any employee(s) of the university staying in the Guest House beyond the admissible period without prior permission shall be liable to disciplinary action as per rules.
  6. Persons using the University Guest House will pay for the damage caused by them to the building, furniture, fixtures or any other property of the university during their stay. 
  7. A person suffering from an infections or a contagious disease shall not be allowed to stay in the Guest House. 
  8. The Guest(s) shall not accommodate any additional member(s) in the room without permission of the guest house caretaker.
  9. Guests leaving rooms shall leave the room key with the care taker for cleaning and other maintenance works. However, the university shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of the belongings of the occupant during his/her stay in the Guest House.
  10. The Guest House will be under the administrative control of officer/ In-charge appointed by the Vice-Chancellor. The guest is expected to maintain harmony and good behavior during his/her stay. 
  1. Any cancellation of reservation shall have to be done online or shall be informed to the caretaker in writing or over phone at least 24 hours before the check-in time otherwise room rent deposited will be forfeited.
  2. The order of food as well as payment can be done via online but at least four hour before the service time.
  3. The occupants shall place order for breakfast/lunch/dinner to the caretaker well in advance. In case of cancellation of order, the caretaker has to be intimated before four hours of the serving time. Otherwise, payment has to be made for the ordered items.
  4. The Guest House management reserves the right to cancel a booking, refuse accommodation or change the room(s) allotted to a person or persons without assigning any reason(s) thereof.
  5. Service Schedule :

a) Bed Tea                    6.00 am to 6.30 am

b) Breakfast                 8.00 am to 9.30 am

c) Lunch                       1.00 pm to 2.00 pm

c) Evening Tea               5.00 pm to 6.00 pm

d) Dinner                      8.00 pm to 9.30 pm

  1. The kitchen of the Guest House will be closed at 10.00 pm.
  2. The use of alcoholic beverages in the Guest House premises is strictly prohibited.
  3. The occupants shall have to maintain peace and tranquillity in the Guest House complex.
  4. Drying of clothes on the verandah or any areas other than those specified for the purpose, shall not be allowed.
  5. Cleanliness has to be maintained in and around the Guest House. Dust bins are placed in appropriate places for disposal of refuses.
  6. Check-out time is 12 Noon
