About the Club

Book reading is an integral exercise to develop a holistic personality. Book reading is not only restricted to students but it is essential for all stages of life. History has witnessed many personalities who have earned independent space in society to which book reading has played a major role. Reading content apart from regular syllabus books explores the hidden part of personality and gives refinement to one’s thought process making oneself a deep thought ideology. It is to this effect and to achieve this objective, the Book Reading Club was established in this university. The agenda of this club is to generate interest of students towards the habit of reading. The club achieves this by organizing different reading activities and discussions across various domains.

Objectives of Book Reading Club

  • To provide a platform for the students & faculty to organize book-review and book-reading sessions on the latest publications and relevant books.
  • To share, debate, and question multidisciplinary perspectives of a text.
  • To stimulate intellectual growth.
  • To orient the students towards developing the hobby of reading books.
  • To present case studies.
  • To share new research.
  • To develop an inter-disciplinary reading environment.
  • To narrate real-life experiences.
