About CII

Centre for Innovation and Incubation (CII) has been established to identify and encourage budding talents in different domains of engineering, health, food, agriculture, etc. The centre is devoted to encourage, inspire, and nurture students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes during their course of education. The centre is open to proposals with strong social and strategic impact. The students can register themselves with CII to work on their proposed idea.

CII was earlier known as Centre for Innovation Skill and Entrepreneurship Development (CISED).

Missions

To act as a catalyst for young age innovators and to create a vibrant innovation environment in university and surrounding regions.

Objectives of CII

  • To facilitate inter-disciplinary and multidisciplinary research and innovative solutions.
  • To arrange workshops/awareness programmes on innovations among students and faculty, and excite the young minds of the country about innovation for inclusive growth and a better future.
  • To foster problem-solving ability and project-based learning.
  • To provide hands-on/practical learning and engagement in the process of science, technology, and innovation.
  • To help the society and economy to face future challenges in science & technology.
  • To strengthen linkages with other institutes and incubators for an innovation ecosystem in the region.
  • To act as a network between academic institutions, R&D institutions, industries, and financial institutions.

  • Mr. Sunil Kumar received "University Colour" Award in 2017 from Central University of Haryana. He innovation projects include like Bird feeder, Air car, Handmade Electricity project and Broom making machine.
  • Shodh Yatra was organized during June- July 2017 in Alwar District, Rajasthan to motivate the youth in rural areas towards research and Innovation and innovative methods of farming in arid areas were also introduced.
  • International Electric Vehicle Expo 2016, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi (Best Innovation Award)
  • Mr. Sunil Kumar has also been awarded District and State Youth award in 2015-16 by Sports and Youth Affair Department, Govt. of Haryana.
  • Aggar Gaurav Samman was awarded to Mr. Sunil Kumar in 2015 by Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, Kaptan Solanki Singh.

Events 2016-2018

  • CISED Innovation centre, central university of Haryana participated in 15th Traditional Food Festival on 29-31st December 2017. 11 students from different departments of Central University of Haryana actively participated. This festival is considered as one of the biggest Traditional food festival.
  • On 30-31st December 2017 three students from CISED Innovation Centre participated in EV EXPO. This was held in capital of India, Delhi. A new technology to control the speeds of vehicle was introduced in EV EXPO.
  • Science Conclave 2018 was organized in MNIT, Jaipur from 5 to 7 January 2018. In which 520 students from 4 states on behalf of CISED Innovation Center, Haryana Central University Attended In which 35 innovation projects were displayed. And 93 Students secured first second and third place.
  • Regional Science Techno Fair was organized in Nagaur Rajasthan on 7-8 April, 2018 in which 54 students from 8 schools under the banner of the University participated. In which different categories 11 gold medals, 15 silver medals and 13 bronze medals were won by the participants.
  • From 9th to 14th May 2018, The Festival of India 2018 was organized at IGNCA Janpath Road New Delhi by Aaj Tak TV, The Times of India and the Indian Government. In which 7 students participated from the Central Haryana University's Innovation Center. Haryanvi Traditional food was presented to the people. In which the University got first place.
  • From 1 to 3 June 2018, Silver Jubilee Award was organized in Gandhinagar, (Gujarat) by the creation society, Honey B Network and National Innovation Foundation,. The best in the field of innovation. Inverters of working entities were invited. In which Innovator Rishi Pal was awarded the Silver Jubilee Award from Central University of Haryana.
  • On 12th July, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ignite Idea competition was organized in Govt. Girl’s Sen. Sec. School, Mahendergarh.
  • On 13th July 2018, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Ignite Idea Competition was organized by CISED Innovation Center, in Dr. Rao Jairam Senior Secondary School, Mahendergarh.
  • About 120 students of CISED, Central Universityof Haryana visited Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Ahmedabad and Science City and participated in the Quiz contest of All India Ramanujan Maths Club in which 3 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 15 bronze medals were won by the students.
  • Between July 30 and August 31, 2018, approximately 125 schools and colleges of Haryana and Rajasthan participated in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ignite Idea Competition. Large number of Ideas came to the University.
  • National Science Technical Fair was held in Surendranagar, Gujarat on 22-23 September 2018 in which 20 students participated from the University. Two gold medals and 5 silver medals were won by the students. Appreciation award was won by the inventor Mr. Rishi Pal.
  • National Organic Festival was organized by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India at Rajpath, New Delhi from 26 October to 4 November 2018 in which 13 Students had participated. Haryanvi food was presented to the people in the fair. Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of India, Mrs. Maneka Gandhi, chief guest, lauded the students of Central University of Haryana.
  • A team of nine students from Haryana Central University participated in the largest Organic Food Festival in the country which was organized from 22nd to 25th December 2018.

Activities 2014-15

  • The project “Future Car” a hybrid technology for future was innovated by student innovator Mr. Sunil Kumar, student of Department of Environmental Science under Roll No. 5556 and the project had been registered in innovation scholars’ in-residence program at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on 1 July 2015 and registered on Nov. 24, 2014 under wide registered no. 2411140232.
  • The project related details had been sent to IIM Ahmedabad as achievement for discussing the draft policy for promoting innovations-based entrepreneurship by students, youth and other individuals on Dec. 16, 2014.
  • Project SYNOPSIS had been sent to participate in “Best innovation of the year” at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on Feb. 12, 2014.
  • The project “Future Car” had been presented in A Three Days National Exhibition and Symposium on I-Fast(Innovative and Futuristic Approaches in Science and Technology), SAVISHKAR on 26-28 Feb. 2015 at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, MNIT M.P.
  • The project “Future Car” had been presented on occasion of Festival of Innovations during 7-13 March 2015.
  • The project “Future Car” had been participated in ANVESHAN 2015 [Student’s Research Convention (North Zone)] in NDRI (National Dairy Research Institute) Karnal with association of Indian Universities, New Delhi on 28, 29 Dec. 2015, under the category of Basic Sciences.
